That revenge discipline does not exist for them. A disciplined, normal person understands that not every single wound deserves massive retaliation. If a healthy person gets slightly offended, they brush it off, calm down, and move on with their day. Compromise.
But a narcissist will gladly drop a nuclear bomb on your life over a tiny paper cut. Why? Because revenge discipline simply does not exist for them. They can destroy something incredibly valuable purely because their ego was mildly injured for five seconds. If you correct them in front of a friend, tell them “no,” or cause them to feel slightly embarrassed, they just can’t tolerate it. Their brain demands instant, severe revenge to balance the scales.
So, they will go out of their way to expose your deepest secrets, turn your own children against you, completely ruin a family celebration, or actively contact your enemies to smear your reputation. A disciplined person knows how to swallow their pride and let things go sometimes. But a narcissist lacks the revenge discipline to let even the smallest things slide.
They will gladly set your entire life on fire just to warm themselves up after feeling rejected. They turn one tiny moment of humiliation into a brutal punishment whose heavy consequences can last for years.
Number Three: Sexual Discipline
Sexual discipline is traded for a cheap thrill. A narcissist completely lacks basic sexual discipline. They can risk their marriage, their entire family, and even their loyal partner’s physical health just for a few cheap minutes of outside validation.
For them, cheating doesn’t require deep love, strong physical attraction, real compatibility, or even genuine interest. Sometimes, just having the open opportunity is enough for them to cross the line. If a total stranger gives them the right kind of shiny attention at the right moment, they simply lack the internal breaks to walk away from it. They trade a precious diamond for a cheap piece of glass.
They will sleep with multiple people, carefully hide it, come back home, and continue being highly intimate with you without saying a single word. This is not just a deep betrayal of your heart. It is a direct, dangerous attack on your physical safety. You [snorts] may be completely loyal and faithful, doing everything right—while unknowingly carrying the heavy physical consequences, like an infection they brought home purely because the narcissist threw their sexual discipline away for a quick ego boost.
Now, if you believe true love means having the daily discipline of staying faithful, drop the word “loyalty” in the comments right now, just to put it out there—because you deserve someone who protects your heart and your health.
