When Narcissists Notice That You’re Powerful and Self-reliant, They Will Do This!

A person with narcissistic personality disorder aspires to have complete power and authority over others at all times, regardless of the cost. They’ll either pretend to be infatuated with you or adopt a victim role to manipulate you. When they tear down a previously powerful person, it boosts their self-esteem enormously, giving them a false sense of worth and superiority. They do this with great enthusiasm and will cast you aside once they’ve extracted everything they can from you.

The narcissist will not give up, even if they fail to acquire what they want through charm or victimization. If they can’t indirectly bring you to your knees, their options become limited. They may turn to those physically close to you, as everyone has the potential to be duped. The narcissist will exploit relationships with your close friends or family members to gain access to your life or learn more about you. Their goal is to make you feel uneasy and turn those close to you against you.

To achieve this, they will spread false tales and gossip about others, planting seeds of conflict and casting aspersions on another person’s character. They may even be the kind of co-workers who will do anything to have you fired, falsely accusing you of actions you did not commit. When they see that you are more popular and respected, they will become obsessed with ways to bring you down.

Narcissists will do whatever it takes to gain control over your life, including stealing, lying, and cheating. They become irritated when others succeed more than they do and hate it when others see through their façades. They loathe our individualism, self-reliance, and moral character, leading them to try to steal our possessions and destroy us.

The narcissist is relentless in their pursuit of defeating you, regardless of how straightforward or challenging you may be as a target. After failing to win you over with love bombing and victimization, they’ll likely resort to dirty tricks and enlist the help of a friend or family member. Therefore, it’s crucial to remain vigilant against their tactics. Regardless of how far you progress, a narcissist will keep trying to bring you down.

My advice to you remains the same: be cautious, stay vigilant, and hold on to your boundaries. All in all, I genuinely hope that this information was informative.
